Booking Your Appointment:

Once you've requested an appointment you will receive an email or text message with a link to complete your booking; this includes a link to pay your 50% booking fee and a client record form.

Our system will hold unconfirmed bookings for 48 hours, if forms are not completed and booking fee paid within this time then your appointment will not be able to go ahead.


Booking Fee:

All bookings are subject to a 50% booking fee; this must be paid within 48 hours of requesting an appointment to secure your slot.

Booking fees are only refundable if at least 48 hours notice of cancellation are given as per our cancellation policy (see below).

Booking Amendments:

Any amendments need to be made 48 hours prior to your appointment, or you will be charged for your original booking.

If you require any additional services to those booked, please give us as much notice as possible so we can allow for more time or reschedule for a more suitable time.

Cancellations:

We request that you give at least 48 hours notice via phone or private message to the @beautybymelissa page. This will allow us to reschedule your appointment (without loss of booking fee) and also allows us to offer the appointment to other clients.

The 48 hour period begins 48 hours prior to the appointment start time.

If you cancel after this period or do not turn up to your appointment then a 100% of your treatment is still payable. An invoice will be issued which will need to be paid before you can book your next appointment. 

If you do not attend or cancel after the 48 hour period 3 times then any future booking will require a 100% payment on all future bookings in order for your appointment to be secured.

Appointment Times:

Please note that if you arrive late to your appointment there's a chance your appointment may need to be rescheduled to a more suitable slot and that you will be liable for a cancellation fee.

Payment:

All payments must be made in full upon completion of your treatment(s). We accept all major credit and debit cards, cash and PayPal. 

If you're using a gift voucher for part of full payment then please ensure you bring this with you.

Treatment Restrictions:

Minors:

If you're under 16 we cannot offer our full range of treatments; you will also need to have a parental consent form if you're under 18.

If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must be present for the duration of the treatment.

Here's a list of which treatments we can offer under 16s:

  • Mini Manicure
  • Mini Pedicure
  • Gel Polish
  • Lash and Brow Tinting 
  • Waxing

Pregnancy: 

During the first 12 weeks of pregnancy we cannot carry out any treatments. After these 12 weeks we can offer most of our regular treatments.

Tinting treatments will require a new patch test 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Lash lift treatments cannot be offered whilst you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

Treatments following a cancer diagnosis:

Unfortunately, following diagnosis we cannot offer any treatments.

One you have finished treatment, and any wound have fully healed, we can offer you most of our full range, providing a consent form is signed by your GP or Oncologist. 

Refunds and Complaints:

We always strive to offer the best treatments and customer service, however, if you're unhappy in any way please don't hesitate to contact us straight away so that we can rectify any issues as quickly as possible.
